COR’S DCE: A FEW FACTS

Family: Married (My wife Beth and I were married in June of 2002), 2 sons Jacob and Noah.

Education: Graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1997, Graduated from Concordia University in Portland in 2001 with a degree in Secondary Education, I also attended the University of Oslo in Norway for one year.

Employment: Beth and I were missionaries in Chiayi, Taiwan for three years. We taught English at Concordia Middle School (a Lutheran junior high/high school of about 2,200 Taiwanese students). Also, I taught English and Bible at Canyonville Christian Academy in Canyonville, Oregon. I was also the school’s varsity boys’ soccer coach.

Hobbies: Soccer, basketball, ping pong, exercise, drama, writing and magic.

Goal as a DCE: To create a children’s and youth ministry that excites, supports and nurtures young people in their walk with God.

Life Goal: To serve and follow God in all that I do.

What I Love about COR: The people are the best. This is a congregation that really wants to get outside their comfort zones and serve God.
