Where do you fit in?

Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place to get involved!  Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at CORLC.

Small Groups

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, Christ Our Redeemer has small bible studies held in member homes and at the church during non-worship times. The size of these groups will vary. There are general bible study groups, as well as specialized groups for men, women, singles, and more!  Please call the church office at 263-7516 or click here to find a group that works for you.

Youth Ministry

At Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church we believe that children are not just part of the church for the future, but they are part of the church today.  We strive to offer programs and worship services that engage and bring the love of Christ to all ages.  At both our 8:30 and 10:30 Sunday worship services we feature a children’s song and special children’s message during service, children’s church (in which children from preschool to fourth grade attend during service) and nursery care.  During the week we have Baby/Toddler Explore for infants-three year-olds, Rock Solid for fifth-eight graders and their families, and Youth Group for high school students.  In the summer we offer Vacation Bible School and Sports Camp for children.  We also offer a variety of fun events throughout the year including a harvest party carnival, a circus show, talent show and a dinner theater.  All of these programs are aimed at offering opportunities for all members of the family to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.  For a more details about our programs, please click here.

Youth Group

High School aged youth are welcomed in our Youth Group, which does a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the year.  Youth Group is generally Sunday afternoons, and includes bible studies, games, and events.  Throughout the year, students work on a circus show, dinner theater, carnival, and more to raise money for a Summer Mission Trip.

Women's Walk & Talk (or Yoga) Group

Come walk and talk!  Or, with North Idaho weather, come and do some Yoga!  A casual setting that is open to all women to share and learn about Christ together.  This program is possible for everyone from beginner to advanced and offers a chance to get away from it all and connect with other women in your area.  Please call Beth Nickodemus at 946-0030 for more information.

Men's Breakfast

Men are invited to join Pastor Steve at Mitzy’s Fifth Avenue Restaurant every Friday morning at 6:00 am for a men’s breakfast.

Shut-In’s and Nursing Home Services

Christ Our Redeemer deeply values those in our community who are no longer able to physically attend services.  In working with a network of other area churches, we provide Sunday worship services at many of the nursing, and assisted living facilities in our area.  In addition, Pastors do weekly visits to shut-in’s and others who welcome them.  If you are unable to get to church and would like more information about these programs, please call the church office at 263-7516.

Hospital Chaplaincy

Pastor Steve Nickodemus spearhead’s the Hospital Chaplaincy program at Bonner General Hospital.  Together with a network of volunteers, someone is available at the hospital daily to offer prayer and spiritual guidance in you or a loved ones time of need.  Chaplains can be reached during non-round hours through a pager if needed.  Please ask the attending nurse to help you or a loved one reach a Chaplain.
